Josué Fajardo

Chairman

Rev. Josué (Josh) Fajardo is the President of "Nueva Luz y Vida", a Spanish nonprofit that provides legal oversight to the Rivas New Light and Life Cultural Center.  Josh also serves as the Area Director for Southern Europe for Free Methodist World Missions.  Previously, Josh worked as an architect and business owner in Tampa, USA.  He has a passion for church planting and leadership development.  Josh and his wife Susy live in Rivas Vaciamadrid, Spain.  They have two daughters.  Gabriela attends university in Maryland.  Isabella lives and studies in Spain.   

 
 
 
 
 
 

Ada Hernández

Rev. Ada  Hernández is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church - USA and currently serves with  Free Methodist World Missions in Spain.  She has eighteen years of customer service experience working with the Walt Disney Corporation and more than twenty-five years of ministerial experience as a worship leader, youth leader, Sunday School superintendent, and  Co-Pastor.  Ada has been married to José for the last twenty-eight years and lives in Rivas Vaciamadrid, Spain.

Carlos Garcia

cultural events coordinator

Carlos is from Madrid, Spain.  He is an enthusiastic teacher who for the past years has helped students in study abroad programs understand Spanish culture.  He has a wide range of international friends, a fact he attributes to the success of his methods and the beauty of Spanish and international cultures.  He believes cultural interchange can be "an unforgettable enriching experience for everyone."  

 
 
 
 
 

José Hernández

Cultural events - community liaison

Rev. José  Hernández is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church - USA and currently serves with  Free Methodist World Missions in Spain.  He has served for twelve years as staff and adjunct faculty at Asbury Theological Seminary and Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University.  He currently serves as a Professor at the Seminario Teológico de España Juan Wesley and as the executive director of the Experience Spain Study Abroad program.  José has been married to Ada for the last twenty-eight years and lives in Rivas Vaciamadrid, Spain.

Raouf Soliman

Service coordinator

Raouf and his wife are originally from Cairo, Egypt and recently moved to Rivas Vaciamadrid.  He has worked regionally for the past ten years in leadership development to help others learn how to holistically serve their own communities.  He has a tremendous burden for refugees and migrants in Europe and wants to raise awareness for the opportunity the Lord has for the church to reach out to refugees and migrants.  

 
 
 
 
 

Susy Fajardo

training coordinator

Susy has been living in Rivas Vaciamadrid, Spain since 2005.  Prior to moving to Spain she was a corporate trainer for a multinational company in Tampa, USA.  She is currently the director of the Logos learning center after-school program and volunteers as an English teacher and tutor of several primary classes.  She teaches adult Sunday School at her local church in Rivas .  She is married to Josh and together they have two daughters , Gabriela and Isabella.

Daniel Sánchez

TRAINER

Daniel is from Rivas Vaciamadrid, Spain. He has a Masters degree in Primary Education with a specialization in use of new technology for educational impact.  He is currently studying for his Doctorate in Education and is passionate about teaching and education.  As at teacher and trainer Daniel does his best to be cheerful and dynamic and believes in actively involving his students in their own learning process.
